Passport & Travel Documentation Acknowledgement

Saltwater Sunsets Travel, LLC ("SST") strongly recommends that all travelers obtain and travel with a valid passport book for all international travel, regardless of whether a passport is technically required for their itinerary. While certain cruises and destinations may permit travel using alternative documentation, travel requirements can change without notice.

Unexpected events such as medical emergencies, missed departures, itinerary changes, flight diversions, or emergency disembarkations in a foreign country may require travelers to possess a valid passport book for re-entry into the United States. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel and may not be sufficient in emergency situations abroad.

It is the traveler's responsibility to obtain and maintain all required travel documentation, including passports, visas, travel authorizations, and any other documents required by government authorities, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and destination countries. Certain countries require passports to remain valid for at least six (6) months beyond the traveler's anticipated return date.

Travelers are responsible for ensuring that the name, date of birth, and other personal information on their travel reservations exactly match their government-issued identification and travel documents. Upon receipt of travel confirmations, itineraries, tickets, and travel documents, travelers should carefully review all information for accuracy and notify Saltwater Sunsets Travel, LLC of any errors or required corrections within twenty-four (24) hours.

Travelers who choose to travel using documentation other than a valid passport book, including but not limited to a birth certificate and government-issued identification where permitted, do so at their own risk. Saltwater Sunsets Travel, LLC cannot guarantee that such documentation will be accepted by airlines, cruise lines, immigration authorities, customs officials, governmental agencies, or other travel suppliers. If a traveler is denied boarding, denied entry, denied re-entry, or otherwise denied travel services because a document is determined to be insufficient, invalid, non-compliant, or unacceptable under applicable requirements or supplier policies, the traveler may incur significant financial losses, including the forfeiture of all amounts paid toward the trip. Such losses may not be covered by travel insurance.

Saltwater Sunsets Travel, LLC does not control or guarantee the issuance of passports, visas, travel authorizations, or entry approvals by any government authority and shall not be liable for denied boarding, denied entry, denied re-entry, missed travel services, financial losses, penalties, denied insurance claims, or additional expenses resulting from insufficient, expired, inaccurate, unavailable, or non-compliant travel documentation.

By submitting payment for travel services through Saltwater Sunsets Travel, LLC, you acknowledge that you have been advised of the importance of obtaining and maintaining proper travel documentation, including a valid passport book when recommended, and accept full responsibility for complying with all applicable travel documentation requirements.
